FACADES Wallpaper Murals
As Seen on Extreme Home Makeover

You can use one image to cover several walls, or combine several different images from our collection of stock photography. Since our pricing includes the cost of the images (which would cost hundreds of dollars if purchased separately), you are limited only by your imagination.

FACADES custom wallpaper is printed on paper and laminated with a vinyl coating. Prepare the wall as you would for any vinyl-coated wallpaper. For best results use Shur-Stik #44 Wallcovering Adhesive from Gibson-Homans, or a comparable "no ammonia" product from another provider.

Because this wallpaper is heavy paper and laminated, it may appear to be wet right after hanging and you may find the adhesive will dry slowly. Wait three to five days, depending on heat and humidity, to ensure paper is completely dry.

Our wallpaper is commonly referred to as "vinyl coated" paper. The paper substrate is the decorative surface on which the image is printed and a layer of acrylic coating is laminated over it for protection. The proper name would be "acrylic coated" but the term "vinyl coated" is used instead.

While tests have proven that our wallpapers are washable/scrubbable and stain resistant, follow these simple steps to keep your wallpaper looking like new:

  1. Always start at the bottom of the wall and work up.
  2. Wash gently with a sponge and mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive cleansers.
  3. Sponge to rinse thoroughly with clean warm water.
  4. Always sponge with the seams rather than against them. Usually the seams run vertically.
  5. Dry with a soft cloth.
