Mural Installation Ideas

Our versatile mural suspension system, available in both wire with sliding clips as well as aluminum tracks, is adaptable to virtually any environment and decor, be it residential, industrial or commercial.

When measuring the dimensions for your fabric mural, it is important to consider the following

  • Measure the full height and width of the space you want to cover – the actual dimensions of the finished FACADE, regardless of the number of individual panels it will be sewn into. For example, if your FACADE will be 20 ft. wide and sewn as 2 separate panels to allow for access in the middle, as shown in example C, enter the dimensions of the full combined width. If your FACADE will be 30 ft. wide and made into 3 separate panels, as shown in example D, measure and order your FACADE for the full width and height of the area to be covered.

  • This full width and height will be the numbers you enter as the dimensions when browsing photos and saving them to your "Favorites" section.

  • All of our suspension systems can be hung at any height, from either the ceiling or the wall, so take your measurement for the dimensions of the finished FACADE, not the opening of the space. For example, if the façade will be suspended 8” below the ceiling, do not include that drop in your measurement for the printed FACADE.

  • For the wire suspension system, there must be a support every 10 horizontal feet. If your FAÇADE is wider than 10 ft., then you will need a center support, to be hung either against a wall or from the ceiling.

  • Consider how you will gain access to the area behind the FACADE, which will determine how many panels you will need. Because the FACADE slides along the suspension system, it is not necessary to have an opening below the center ceiling support, unless you wish to gain access to the space from the area just below the ceiling support.

  • The fabric used to print FACADES is 60” in width, which means there will be seams in the finished panels if your measurements are wider than 60”. Our sewers are skilled at matching the print on the seam.

  • Sectioning options for wider FACADES

Maximum width- 10 ft. No center support required
    10 ft. wide +
Center support required per 10 ft. width using the wire suspension system. This illustrates a 20 ft. panel in one piece - opening on either side towards the center
This illustrates a 20 ft. panel in two pieces , with a center support - opening both in the middle and on either side towards the center
